About Rebekah Prieto
Rebekah Prieto joined Parenting Matters in January 2024 and is the Director of Development and Marketing. She brings nearly a decade of experience in fundraising, development, and marketing. Her career has been rooted in a deep commitment to supporting children and families—a passion shaped early on by her upbringing in a foster and adoptive household.
Before joining Parenting Matters, Rebekah served as Director of Programs and Operations at the Multicultural Health Institute, where she championed health equity for underserved communities. She also held the role of Director of Development for Prevent Child Abuse Arizona, connecting donors with impactful causes and helping ensure long-term sustainability for critical programming.
Rebekah holds a Master of Science in Family and Human Development with a specialization in Child Life from Arizona State University. She is a lifelong learner and stays curious—frequently attending professional development courses to stay current on emerging trends while honoring the proven practices that stand the test of time.
A natural storyteller with a love for people, Rebekah believes that meaningful relationships are the heart of successful fundraising and community engagement. She thrives on connecting donors with missions that matter and crafting messaging that makes impact feel personal.
Outside of work, Rebekah enjoys beach days, live shows, and exploring local favorites with her husband and children. Since moving to Florida in 2021, her home has become a favorite stop for out-of-town visitors, and she happily plays tour guide whenever she can.
