What is Musical Motion?

Musical Motion is a FREE learn & play class that encourages bonding while developing early learning and literacy skills in children. Sessions focus on creative activities that enhance brain development and build preschoolers’ social skills, language skills, motor skills, and more.

How will it benefit my family?

Musical Motion helps children gain crucial skills that prepare them for school success. You will also learn effective activities that you can do at home to help your child thrive. Parents enjoy playing with their children and socializing with other parents and children. You will also have access to Parenting Educators to answer questions about parenting and your child’s development.

How does it work?

You can attend as many or as few hour-long sessions you wish. We serve families on a first-come, first-served, basis. Many children participate completely or partly, depending on age and temperament. Our educators are experts at engaging kids in their own way, in their own time. Families who attend 10 classes receive an Activity Bag to take home, while supplies last.

Who can participate?

Musical Motion is for parents/caregivers and their children, ages 0-5. All classes are offered in both English and Spanish.

How can I get started?

Musical Motion is a drop-in program and participants are welcome to join as many classes that suit your schedule.  There is a one-time $10 enrollment fee. Donations accepted year-round. Call (941) 756-3007 or email programs@parentingmattersfl.org.
