Shhhhh, don’t tell Katie, but I have confiscated her Director’s Corner this month so I can share all of the dets about our upcoming Sangarita Showdown!

Did you know that Sangarita Showdown is turning 10 this year!?!?! Where does the time go?

On November 13, we will celebrate a decade of sangria, margaritas, friendly competition, and, most importantly, a community that continues to show up for local families. We are on a mission to make our 10th anniversary the best Sangarita yet, and there are a few ways we could really use your help to make that happen.

First, come join us.

Tables are already selling quickly. In fact, I feel confident that we will be selling out this year, and we would hate for you to hear about all the fun afterward. If Sangarita has been on your calendar, now is the time to grab your tickets or reserve your table before we sell out.

This year also comes with a pretty incredible opportunity. Our friends at the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation have generously offered a $25,000 matching gift to include funds raised during our Gift from the Heart paddle raise.

That means when someone raises a paddle for $50, $500, $1,000, or $5,000, that gift has the opportunity to go twice as far.

Those dollars will translate into very real support for families in our community. Here are some examples:

  • A gift of $25 can provide emergency food, clothing, diapers, or safety items for a family.
  • $50 can provide five Musical Motion classes for a child. And,
  • $1,000 can provide a full month of intensive parenting education and wraparound support for a family.

Our goal: Do not leave a single matching dollar on the table.
