Community in Action

On June 14th, Executive Director Katie Becker had the privilege of touring Callaghan’s Best One, guided by HR Director Jane Trinci. This exclusive tour offered a glimpse into the heart of a family-owned business that has become a cornerstone of the Bradenton, Florida community since its founding in 1973 by Joseph Callaghan.

Callaghan’s Best One has earned its reputation as a leading tire service provider, known for its unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Over the decades, this company has grown and evolved, now offering a comprehensive range of services, including tire sales, maintenance, and retreading for both commercial and personal vehicles. Their dedication to innovation and reliability ensures that every customer receives top-notch service backed by decades of expertise.

Jane Trinci, who not only directs HR at Callaghan’s Best One but also serves on the Parenting Matters Board of Directors, has been a steadfast supporter of Parenting Matters. This partnership has flourished through various volunteer efforts and financial contributions, reinforcing the bond between Callaghan’s Best One and the families in our community. This year, Callaghan’s Best One took their support a step further by becoming a Defender sponsor through our Compassionate Companies Program.

The Compassionate Companies Program is a fantastic initiative that allows socially conscious businesses to make a tangible impact on the lives of children and families in our community. Through this annual investment program, businesses can choose from multiple sponsorship levels, tailoring their involvement to best suit their capabilities and goals. It’s an excellent opportunity for businesses to give back while also benefiting from a range of sponsorship advantages.

We encourage other businesses to follow in the footsteps of Callaghan’s Best One and join our Compassionate Companies Program. By doing so, you can help create a stronger, more supportive community for everyone.
