Driven by a commitment to serving families and communities, Robin Rowland currently serves as Manager of Finance and Administration at Parenting Matters. Her journey with the organization began 14 years ago, when she joined as an Administrative Assistant after her children started school. Over time, she developed a deep appreciation for Parenting Matters’ mission and a dedication to supporting parents, which has guided her professional growth. Drawing on experience as a Relationship Banker and Professional Fiduciary at previous employers, she now oversees all aspects of the organization’s finances—including payroll, accounting, benefits administration, bill payments, and the preparation of comprehensive financial reports—alongside responsibilities in human resources and technology.
Outside of work, Robin enjoys spending time with her husband of more than three decades, Steve, and their three adult daughters, two of whom are married while the youngest pursues higher education. A strong believer in community engagement, she actively participates in church activities, finance committees, missions, the Exchange Club, and numerous Parenting Matters events. In her leisure time, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes (cooking, not baking) and delving into a good mystery.
Her educational background, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Florida, combined with the influences of family and friends, has equipped her to be an effective and collaborative team member. Her approach is defined by open communication, adaptability, and a dedication to creating meaningful impact both professionally and personally.
