At Parenting Matters, we see the transformative power of support, guidance, and community every day. Thanks to generous donors like you, families in our community receive the help they need to navigate the challenges of parenting. This month, we are honored to share Bethany’s story—a testament to the impact of the Parent Partner Program.
Bethany, a mother of three, found herself struggling to manage the demands of parenting, especially during the summer months when her children were home full-time. Wanting to be the best parent she could be, she sought out Parenting Matters and connected with Ashley, a Parenting Educator, who provided her with invaluable resources and support.
“Parenting Matters came alongside me and helped answer my parenting questions,” Bethany shared. “Ashley not only provided guidance but also helped me find resources in Manatee County. She even advised me on scholarship opportunities through the Sarasota Community Foundation. I applied and was awarded $1,500 for the upcoming spring semester.”
Bethany’s experience is just one of many that highlight how Parenting Matters empowers families through education, encouragement, and connection.
