Tracey Ohata is a compassionate Parenting Educator with Parenting Matters, where she supports families through the Chosen Families and Parent Partner programs. With over a decade of experience working with children and families, Tracey is deeply committed to helping parents build stronger, more connected relationships with their children.
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Tracey began her career in the nonprofit sector as a Program Manager serving seven under-resourced communities, where she taught children valuable life skills such as cooking, art, sustainable gardening, and emotional intelligence. After relocating to Florida three years ago, she shifted her focus to parenting education—empowering caregivers to break cycles of trauma and strengthen family bonds.
A Certified Connected Parenting Practitioner and Adoption Competent Educator, Tracey is known for her conscious awareness, insight, and practical tools that help parents navigate complex family dynamics while keeping connection at the heart of the relationship. She believes that parenting is one of the hardest—and most rewarding—jobs we will ever do, and she is dedicated to ensuring that no parent has to journey it alone.
